Bus Lines and Stops

Corfu has two main bus systems:

Blue Buses (Corfu City Bus): These primarily serve Corfu Town and nearby areas.
Green Buses (KTEL Kerkyras): These connect Corfu Town with more distant parts of the island.

Near Kaiser’s Bridge, there are several bus stops, including:

Γέφυρα Κάιζερ (Kaiser Bridge): Located directly at the bridge.
Αλέκος (Hotel Kaiser): About a 1-minute walk from the bridge.

The following bus routes serve this area:

Line 6: Runs between Corfu Town (Mitropolitou Methodiou Street) and Benitses. Travel times
Line 10: Connects Corfu Town with the Achilleion Palace.
Lines B1, B2, B3, B6, B7, B8, B12: Serve various routes between Corfu Town and the southern or western parts of the island.

Tickets and Fares

Ticket prices vary depending on the zone and bus operator:

Blue Buses (Corfu City Bus):
- Zone A: €1.10 for a single ride.
- Zone B: €1.50 for a single ride.
- Day Pass: €5.00 for unlimited travel on the day of validation.
- Note: Tickets should be bought in advance at kiosks or ticket machines. Buying on the bus is possible but includes a €0.50 surcharge.
Green Buses (KTEL Kerkyras):
- Prices depend on distance, starting at about €1.60 for short trips.

Route Examples

From Corfu Airport (CFU) to Kaiser’s Bridge:
- Take Bus Line 6 at the KTEO stop toward Benitses. The ride takes about 17 minutes and costs between €1 and €2.
From Corfu Town to Kaiser’s Bridge:
- Take Bus Line 6 from Mitropolitou Methodiou Street. Ask the driver to stop at Alekos (Hotel Kaiser).
From Kaiser’s Bridge to Corfu Town:
- Take Bus Line 6 heading back to Corfu Town.
